Wipro’s RF System Design Center leverages on domain expertise in consumer, automotive, wireless terminals, wireless infrastructure as well as embedded systems, to provide challenging and comprehensive system solutions up to frequencies of 7 GHz by means of Digital High Speed Board/FPGA/SoC Design, RF Circuit Design, Mixed Signal Board Design and Mechanical design;, meeting critical time-to market demands of the customers with design reliability, scalability and upgradeability. The engineering capabilities spectrum extends from system architecture, design, implementation, fabrication & assembly, testing, system validation, system qualification & certification, low volume manufacturing to system sustenance and maintenance.

Our team has considerable RF Circuit Design expertise in the field of Wireless Communications for DECT, GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, WLAN and UWB Technologies.

Wipro developed wireless modems for the IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g standards. These standards were based on technologies like spread spectrum and OFDM.

Wipro team also provides all key components for the construction of a wireless network infrastructure.

Whether it is a board design or a system design or a frame level design (Transceiver design), increased complexity and reduced design time are the challenges our customers face. Wipro's design team shares this responsibility / challenge with our customers to deliver the best quality designs. Some of the key features that differentiate this team are:
Design expertise in low to high complex boards
Design expertise in both frame level and high power RF design
Specifications distribution among the key blocks
Expertise in Circuit Simulations, Schematics and to Gerber release
Board level, system level and circuit level simulations using spice models and S-parameters
Design Analysis viz MTBF, Power dissipation, voltage and temperature analysis
Mechanical, heat sink and Shielding design for the blocks and the system
Functional testing of prototype boards and testing of boards/system both manually and automatically with valid test procedures.
Design validation tests including Electrical, RF Conformance and environmental tests
Product Type approvals (ANSI, ETSI, Wi-Fi, EMC, Safety etc.)
Documentation for Production manufacturing
Defined & proven designed flow - EagleWision design methodology and various defined internal guidelines & through review process at every stage.
