to build the appliance on a Linux based common platform
with common OS version for various SAN and NAS storage
virtualization solutions. Achieve a quick turnaround
in testing the products around the clock between
the facilities at US and Wipro facilities in India.
The project involved porting and integration
of different virtualization software solutions
under a single embedded Linux version with custom
layers built on top of the OS to manage the appliance
hardware platform and to enable High Availability
in a clustered setup.
Provide technical support for partners in APAC
through the team in India. Participation of Wipro
in the certification of the storage appliance
products with eco-system vendors to ensure the
compatibility of the product with other SAN related
products.
