Wipro has worked extensively on leading backup
and recovery products for enterprise class platforms.
Wipro’s work on backup/recovery products
for a leading enterprise class server platform
vendor included providing vendor specific enhancements,
engineering support for field escalations, testing,
and periodic maintenance releases. Wipro worked
with an enterprise server vendor for over 5 years
in enhancements and sustenance of a leading backup
product ported to the vendor’s multi-processor
Unix platform. Wipro has also developed comprehensive
test suites and carried out testing in large data
center configurations for a leading backup/recovery
product.
Wipro has also developed software components
for backup and mirroring solutions under Wipro’s
Storage Centre of Excellence. These include serverless
backup with volume snapshot and lightweight software
mirroring.
