Wipro’s team typically develops the complete
Board Support Package (BSP) for the target
Operating system and validates it with the test
suites provided by the RTOS vendor. Device drivers
for all the peripherals on the target hardware
are then developed and tested and finally the
complete target application is integrated with
the BSP and the device drivers.
Wipro has successfully undertaken turn key engagements
where the complete system design which includes
the architecture, board design and the RTOS porting
and application development is entirely done by
Wipro. This integrated offering of hardware and
firmware solution is a unique service that Wipro
offers.
Wipro’s engineers have excellent familiarity
with the various tool chains and development environments
such as WindRiver’s Tornado or equivalent
platforms for other operating systems. We have
good experience in using the various tools such
as task profilers provided as part of the tool
set that help in performance benchmarking/tuning.
