| With a team of 3
consultants this project was completed in a period
of six months. In absence of proper design documents,
the team parsed the existing code and developed
a complete understanding of the design. This was
followed by developing a design model for the existing
product. After building up an understanding of tcl/tk,
the interface and controls were redeveloped in C.
Subsequently the interface and controls for the
3D imaging were redeveloped using OpenGL / X-
Motif. The final target to interact in real-time
and display 30 slices per sec was delivered.
