The OpenCable standard is set to bring about
a revolution in the way cable is used as a medium
for broadband digital broadcast. It is also set
to pave the way for making cable modems more affordable
for the consumer. Wipro has also developed its
own design for implementing the OpenCable standard
on digital Set-top boxes and Digital TVs for its
customers.
