and other similar products already available
in the market to understand the features offered
by competitors and came up with a comprehensive
list of “features” for the product
to be developed. This information was shared
with the client and thereby enhanced the features
for the product. |

Further, the Wipro team
made value added propositions to the client
based on the results of the study and Wipro’s
accumulated expertise. All this resulted in
a robust design incorporating the “enhanced
features” of the product. |

Wipro’s reusable
building blocks of MPEG-4 video encoder, RTP
and RTSP were used to provide “live
MPEG4 streaming” solution. This cut
the development cycle and the time gained
was used in further customizing the solution. |

Wipro provided support
for electromechanical sensor, motion detection,
mailing and FTP of alarm images and various
other features for remote monitoring. |

Wipro provided software
workarounds for issues/problems in the client
supplied hardware. |

Wipro provided solutions
to circumvent bugs in the third party OS used. |
