Wipro developed various components of Element
Management System for Intra Element Management
of CDMA 2000 NE. A Java based interface was conceived
and developed that provided an integrated view
of all the Network Elements in the system. The
team also designed CORBA based back-end servers
that implemented SNMP interface to the Network
Elements. The back-end servers provided uniform
OA&M view of all the elements, and data services
to the GUI clients. Event and Alarm services,
including network provisioning, inventory and
status control were some of the important features
of the EMS.
This customer was able to re-vector most of its
resource requirements and focus on existing and
new business opportunities.
