Wipro developed
a generic framework which could be used to build
a complete M-Commerce Solution.
The framework was developed in JAVA and C++
using state of the art middlewares. The salient
features of this solution were:
Charging Service
A highly scalable charging server which enables
the consumer to make atomic, session and subscription
based purchases using external accounts viz. Credit
Cards, Debit Cards, PrePaid System.
Administration Service
Administration server for Consumer, Content merchants,
and the Service Provider to administer information
related to them.
Provisioning Service
Consumers and Content Merchants can register with
the Service Provider
Mobile Authentication Service
An Authentication server which authenticates mobile
consumers at different security levels and using
various security methods.
External Account Adapters
External Account (Payment Gateways) adapters for
transacting with different Payment Gateways that
can be seamlessly plugged in the framework without
restarting the servers.
SMS Gateway Adapters
Adapters for communicating with different SMS
Gateway adapters that can be seamlessly plugged
in the framework without restarting the servers
Reports
Generate various reports, invoices and billing
information
Simulators and Test Tools
Development and Testing done using simulators
for WAP and SMS Devices. Test tools to perform
functional and performance tests.
Security
A robust security framework using Public Key Infrastructure
(PKI) and Secure Socket Layer – (SSL)

Highly Scalable framework for JAVA and C++.
This framework was used to develop a content application
where one can view his horoscope by different
signs and categories viz. General, Romance, Business
etc. The content application supported WEB and
Mobile users.
This framework was also used to develop a ticketing
application where one could buy tickets for movies,
sports matches, theatre, operas etc.
This framework has been re-used for many other
applications
