A team of 4 engineers, well versed in the requirements
of an MPLS solution was engaged to engineer the
service-provisioning tool based on MPLS technology.
One of the main highlights during the project
was the enhancement of IDL of an existing CORBA
client to support third party devices. Apart from
this, a utility to export proprietary information
from the switch to an XML format and vice versa
was also developed. The team delivered the required
features in a short span of three months.
The new features added value to the product.
The value-added product helped the service providers
(customer's customers) to provide differentiated
services and cost-effectively deploy an MPLS based
VPN.
